Interior Design Roundtable 2026: How Kenyan Designers Are Mastering Value, Authority & Pricing

On 9th May 2026, the Interior Design Society of Kenya (IDSK), together with the Spatial Design Resource Centre, hosted a high-level Interior Design Roundtable at Oho Gardens, Nairobi.

Themed “Beyond Aesthetics: Mastering Value, Authority & Pricing,” the event brought together interior designers, architects, suppliers, consultants, and built-environment professionals for practical conversations around pricing, project delivery, cost management, and professional growth within Kenya’s evolving interior design industry.

The highlight of the afternoon was a masterclass by QS Patience Mulondo on Pricing for Interior Designers, where attendees explored how designers can better structure pricing, understand project costs, manage risks, and improve profitability while delivering value to clients.
