The Interior Design Summit 2026 brought Kenya’s interior design industry together at Sarit Expo Centre, Nairobi, from 26–30 August under the theme “Building the Interior Design Economy.”
Across five days, interior designers, manufacturers, suppliers, educators, students, emerging professionals and built-environment partners came together for industry conversations, practical workshops, networking and new collaborations.
The Summit focused on the areas that matter to the growth of the profession — manufacturing, technology, materials, professional practice, business opportunities, emerging designers, Women in Design and stronger connections across the industry.
We are grateful to our partners, speakers, participants, exhibitors and the wider interior design community who contributed to making the 2026 Summit possible.
The work continues beyond the Summit as IDSK strengthens professional practice, industry partnerships, learning opportunities and pathways for the next generation of designers.
